In order to update the shipping setting, make sure you already login into malakat.com, if you still didn’t have an account, kindly click HERE. If you are a registered user, please proceed to log in to your Malakat account.

If you have registered by Facebook click on  Connect with Facebook button, if you have registered by Google click on  Connect with Google button else please fill in your email address and password and enter by clicking on login, refer to the attachment. 

Before start selling, make sure you have updated your profile completely, kindly click HERE to update your profile.

At the moment, only the drop-off is allowed and the pick-up services is under the development. 

Process The Order

In order to process the order, firstly you need to check the Active Sales, and to view the order in detail, click the Details button.

Initiate Shipping

To start processing your order, click on the Initiate Shipping button.

After clicking on the Initiate Shipping button, you will need to confirm the pickup for your order, click on the Submit button to proceed.

You will a confirmation message regarding your request ‘Your request has been successfully submitted’. After that, scroll down to the bottom of the page. 

You will see the message as ‘Tracking and Print Label will be available once the shipping request has been approved by the courier. Please wait a moment, it will not take long.’ You may refresh the browser to proceed with the next step.

Pickup Button

  • Tracking: To track the location of the parcel.
  • Print Label: To print the consignment note and attached to the parcel.

The next step is to print the label by clicking the Print Label button and attached the label to the order. You may proceed to drop the parcel followed by the courier services chosen by your customer. You may track the location of the parcel by clicking the Tracking button

At the moment: The only available courier is Poslaju, JnT and Ninja Van.

Click on the Shipping at the sidebar. To view, the payout kindly clicks HERE or refer to the attachment. On this page, you are allowed to update your shop details such as Shop Name, Shop Description, and Shop Location, refer to the attachment.

Firstly, you need to create a Shipping Class, click on the Add Shipping Class button, refer to the attachment.

Shipping classes are used to group products, such as weight, size, refer attachment

Note: Shipping classes allow you to define different shipping costs for your products. If you have products with high shipping costs (large in weight and size), you can add a class

After click on the Add Shipping Class button, you may enter the name of your shipping class, make sure you enable the status of the shipping class, refer to the attachment. After done, click on the Submit button and you will receive a pop-up ‘Item successfully added!’

If you are using weight as the matrix, you may set the shipping class as:

  • Below 0.5, Below 1kg, Below 1.5kg, Below 2kg.

 

If you are using size as the matrix you may set the shipping class as:

  • Size XS, Size S, Size M, Size M, Size L, Size XL, Size XXL.

 

Note: You shipping class may be different from the example, refer to the attachment.

Secondly, you need to create a Shipping Zone, click on the Add Shipping Zone button, refer to the attachment.

Enter the zone name according to your preference such as Semenanjung Malaysia, Sabah/Sarawak, or others.

Start to select the regions for your zones and click on the Select Region button when done. 

Thirdly, you need to create a Shipping Method, click on the Add Shipping Zone button, refer to the attachment.

A Shipping Zone is a geographical area to which you ship items. You may set the Zone NameSelect Regions and Add Shipping Method, see the attachment.

These three (3) shipping methods are Flat Rate, Local Pickup, Free Shipping.

Flat Rate

For the flat rate, you may determine the cost for the class you set for the shipping class such as below 0.5, below 1kg, below 1.5kg, below 2kg.

Local Pickup

You may allow your customer to pickup at your store by adding local pickup as the shipping method.

Just enter the local pickup cost and make sure the status is enabled.

Free Shipping

You are allowed to set free shipping if your customer buy your product with the minimum amount set by you.

Just enter the minimum order amount and make sure the status is enabled.

After done, click on the Submit button and you will receive a pop-up ‘Changes successfully saved!’

Fourthly, you set the delivery time (Optional), click on the Add Delivery Time button, refer to the attachment.

You can add shipping delivery times from here (E.g: Ready to ship in 1 Business Day), after done, click on the Submit button, refer to the attachment.
